PNWA is hosting two events of interest to our membership:
Northwest Regulatory Workshop
- 9:00-11:30am, August 26th at the Port of Portland
- PNWA members have been asked for feedback over the last year regarding their regulatory experiences for new and existing projects. Based on this feedback, we have arranged a partnering workshop with the Northwestern Division for the morning of Friday, August 26th. This will be the first of what we hope will be a series of opportunities to meet with our colleagues at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, share information, and identify ways to strengthen working relationships.
BPA & USACE 101
- 1:00-4:00pm, August 26th at the Port of Portland
- The Corps of Engineers and Bonneville Power Administration are two key federal agencies for the PNWA membership and are great partners in the work that we do. We have arranged for a briefing on August 26th from Sonya Baskerville, Manager of National Relations for BPA, and Kevin Brice, Deputy District Engineer at the Portland District of the Corps. Sonya and Kevin will provide an overview of each agency, their core missions, and information on how BPA and the Corps work together to manage federal infrastructure in the Northwest.
Bookings are closed for this event.
